MAUNDY THURSDAY, APRIL 2 at 8:30 PM to GOOD FRIDAY, APRIL 3 at 7:00 AM

The "Garden Watch" or "Gethsemane Watch" is a spiritual vigil that we make as a parish community on the night of Maundy Thursday until the morning of Good Friday. This night vigil commemorates Jesus' time of prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane before his arrest.

By praying in the night we remember Jesus' admonition to his disciples to "stay awake and pray" (Mark 14:38) and Jesus' teaching of the efficacy of praying at an inopportune moment. (see Luke 11:5-8, 18:1-8)
