Gracious God, the Giver of all good gifts: We thank you and all the faithful that have come before us at St. Peter’s so that we might know the hopefulness of your embrace. Now, in our day, pour out your Spirit upon us that we may extend your embrace to all our neighbors. Through your grace at work in us, may they discover the love of God that has been made known to us in Jesus Christ, the image of the invisible God, who makes all things new, forever and ever. Amen.
