COFFEE HOUR
Every Sunday after the Rite II service, our fellowship begins at Coffee Hour. The warmth of fellowship and the health and nutrition of our Coffee Hour are true gifts of our volunteers who lend their time and talents. Families, couples, and all combinations of parishioners share this responsibility throughout the year.
Coffee Hour begins with brewing coffee, and an instruction booklet is provided in the kitchen for this fine art. Variations are, of course, permitted based on your special talents. Parishioners bring bought or baked breads & pastries, fresh fruit, cheese and crackers, small sandwiches, or bagels and spreads. Coffee Hour hosts set up before church, and clean up afterwards. Volunteers often partner with another family, which makes hosting much easier.
Due to food safety concerns, we ask that you retain labels of all bought foods, or create labels for any food that is prepared in a kitchen that also prepares or processes peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs, gluten (wheat). Due to recent food outbreaks, we also recommend not buying pre-cut fruit, or sprouts. Please label all baked goods with allergens, and wash all fruit before cutting. Thank you!
During the summer months, iced tea and lemonade are served outdoors under our shade trees, or inside if it rains.
It’s a wonderful way to get involved in the fellowship of St Peter’s. Please consult your calendar, choose a date that works for you, and sign up on the sheet in the Parish Hall or contact E.V. Janopaul via the church office at 973-334-4429.

MEN'S BREAKFAST
St. Peter’s men share a monthly breakfast the fourth Saturday of each month, September through June. Using the talents of many, we cook a hearty breakfast and set the table in our parish hall. We share experiences, wisdom, and items of interest to the health and well-being of the parish. When needed, we also volunteer for special events such as preparing palms, cooking for Mother’s Day brunch, or other parish events. Please contact Kevin Edwards at the church office to join the email list.
other annual fellowship events
There are numerous fellowship events that mark our year and fill us with joy. We close our Christmas season festivities with St. Peters 12th night celebration in early January. On Shrove Tuesday we invite all the community to our Pancake Supper hosted by our youth and the Men's Breakfast group. In Lent, friends and neighbors share in our Annual Fish Fry. This year in Spring, we will host our 50th Annual Action Auction that raises revenue for St. Peter's Outreach and always fun for all in attendance. In summer we celebrate an outdoor Eucharist during our annual Parish Picnic.
