tHE REV. michael muller, Rector
Born and raised in Australia, Rev. Muller grew up in the Roman Catholic Church in a movement focused on Christian community and the gospel in the modern world. He came to the United States in 1990 to attend seminary at Seton Hall University, and was ordained as a Catholic priest in 1994. Changing directions, he married Liz and together they have raised five children. Their family began attending Episcopal parishes in 1999. While raising their family, Michael rose through the ranks in the building products industry. In 2011 he took steps that led to his priestly orders being received in the Episcopal Church in 2016. His depth of faith and commitment to the church and the people he serves impresses all who know Rev. Muller. Bringing passion and energy to his pastoral care and preaching, Rev. Muller seeks to bring people closer to God, offering a hopeful Good News that is relevant to people’s lives in challenging and transformative ways. He has been the rector at St. Peter's Mountain Lakes since Advent, 2019.
