Thanks to the generosity of our parishioners we have a number of wonderful items that we will auction off at our live event on October 1 at Rockaway River Country Club. If you cannot attend and would like to be involved in the bidding, please email anthony.floreno@yahoo.com to set up proxy bidding.
#1: Afternoon on the Lake
Come join Captain Charlotte Kalb and First Mate Pam Whitney for a two-hour cruise on Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey’s largest body of fresh water. The exact origin of the name Hopatcong is unknown, though it is most commonly attributed to the Lenape Indian word for "stone water," or "stone over water" Located about 20 minutes from Mountain Lakes, Lake Hopatcong is eight miles long and fronted on all sides with both large and small lake houses. Your cruise will start at Mount Arlington in the area where Bertrand Island Amusement Park once was located. That is where you board the 22 foot pontoon boat, Petticoat Navy V, which can accommodate your group of up to six passengers of all ages. During the trip you will pass the historic Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club, Raccoon Island, Halsey Island and Lake Hopatcong State Park. Trip includes snacks and drinks. April-September 2023.

#3: "A Night in Amalfi"
Delight in the tastes of the rich culinary region of Campania Italy. Six diners will be welcomed with a refreshing and characteristic cocktail. A variety of antipasti will awaken the taste buds and remind diners of the soft beach breezes and warm embrace of the Amalfi hills. The primo will feature a pasta of your choice followed by a satisfying and creatively characteristic secondo of either meat or fish. Each course will be paired with wine to deliver a most authentic eating experience. Dessert will finish the festivities with cheese, fruit, warm pastry and liqueurs. Diners will be offered a choice of two menus. You may choose a winter menu to be served inside or a summer theme to be served al fresco.

#11: Spring Cleanup
Want your yard looking its best next Spring? Then, you'll want to bid on this three-to-five-hour, full-service cleanup from Lakeland Lawn Care. The lawn maintenance crew will remove remaining leaves, sticks, and branches from the winter, then depending on the property, other tasks could include: edging/redefining garden beds, turning over mulch, cutting dead branches and bushes, cutting back plants that weren't trimmed in the Fall, as well as a usual mow, trim and blow of your property (up to 1 acre). Valued from $450-1,200 (depending on the size and complexity of your yard).
